The Sacred Scotland Quest is a one-of-a-kind journey through some of the most breathtaking and legendary landscapes in the world. Over 10 days, you’ll traverse nearly 40 miles of wild terrain—through the rolling Highlands, dramatic ridgelines, mossy glens, and across the sea to the windswept Isles of Skye and Lewis.
This pilgrimage blends moderate to challenging hikes with deeply immersive cultural and spiritual experiences. From the summit of Ben Lomond to the ancient standing stones of Callanish, from the hidden valleys of Glencoe to the surreal formations of the Quiraing, each trail leads you deeper into the land’s raw beauty and rich mythic history.
Expect daily hikes ranging from 2 to 8 miles, ferry crossings between isles, castle visits, and sacred site pilgrimages. While not as altitude-focused as alpine treks, this journey requires endurance, curiosity, and the ability to move with presence through rugged and remote environments.
Ideal for those seeking not just adventure but intentionality, this quest is for those called to walk in reverence—ready to reclaim their wildness, meet themselves in the elements, and remember the deeper song of their souls in communion with the land.

The Sacred Scotland Quest is moderate in difficulty, with daily hikes ranging from 3 to 8.5 miles and varying elevation gains. While some trails are more rugged—like the Ring of Steall—alternate routes are available.
You don’t need technical experience, but should feel comfortable hiking for several hours on uneven terrain. If you’re active and enjoy walking or hiking, you’ll be well-prepared for this journey.
You may also opt out of any hikes should you feel the need to rest.

ARRIVAL: Please plan to arrive at the Glasgow airport NO LATER THAN 11:00 AM on April 9, 2026 to ensure you’re on time for our opening circle at 2:00 PM and the briefing and welcome dinner at 4:00 PM.
A quick cab can transport you from the airport to the hotel.
Keep in mind that customs and international arrivals can cause delays, so we highly recommend taking a red-eye or even arriving a day early to avoid any issues.

Accommodations are a mix of locally-owned hotels, historic inns, and cozy hostels that reflect the charm and character of each region we visit—from village stays in Drymen and Fort William to shared lodging on the Isle of Skye and the Outer Hebrides.
Rooms are typically shared with one or more quest participants, and while not luxury, they are clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Think warm showers, hearty breakfasts, and a place to rest after a day of hiking and connection.
This style of lodging helps us stay close to nature, culture, and community—and adds to the intimacy and adventure of the journey.

April is considered one of the best times to explore Scotland—the weather is often cool but enjoyable, with longer daylight hours, blooming landscapes, and the lowest chance of encountering midges.
Expect a mix of sun, wind, light rain, and crisp air, with daytime temperatures ranging from 45–55°F (7–13°C). While the conditions can change quickly, this season offers some of the clearest and most pleasant weather of the year.
It’s still important to pack for all elements, including waterproof layers and warm clothing, so you can fully enjoy whatever the Highlands and Isles have in store.

You’ll enjoy hearty, nourishing meals that reflect the local Scottish culture—from cozy pub dinners and traditional dishes to fresh local produce and warm breakfasts to fuel your hikes.
Breakfasts and dinners are included daily, often enjoyed together as a group in hotel dining rooms or nearby restaurants. Lunches are on our own, offering flexibility to explore village cafés or buy something simple at the market.
While meals won’t be gourmet, they are filling, satisfying, and made with care. We do our best to accommodate dietary needs—just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

DAY 1: Arrival to GLASGOW
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9, 2026
Step into the ancient heartbeat of Scotland. Beneath Glasgow’s creative pulse lies a land once ruled by sacred riverways, early Celtic tribes, and the miracles of Saint Mungo. As travelers arrive from around the world, we begin to root into this green and storied land. Our opening circle sets the tone—this isn’t just a trip, but a sacred crossing. Intention, presence, and connection awaken the path ahead.

DAY 2: Ben Lomond
THURSDAY, APRIL 10, 2026
We journey to Loch Lomond, a place the ancient Celts revered as a spiritual portal. From the loch’s edge, we begin our ascent of Ben Lomond—Scotland’s southernmost Munro and a peak of ancient reverence. Once a fire-signal mountain for Highland clans, its name means "Beacon." At the summit, sky and soul meet. Descending the wild Ptarmigan Ridge, we walk a line between worlds. Expect challenge, clarity, and something ancient awakening.

DAY 3: Glencoe Hidden Valley
FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 2026
We enter Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most breathtaking and storied landscapes—carved by glaciers and echoing with legend. Here, towering cliffs, rushing waterfalls, and mossy ravines create a natural cathedral. We hike into the Hidden Valley, where the MacDonald clan once concealed both cattle and kin, and where the tragic 1692 massacre left a scar on the Highland soul. Locals still speak of a eerie presence here. This day is about remembrance, release, and reverence.

DAY 4: The Ring of Steall
SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 2026
One of the most breathtaking ridge hikes in all of Scotland. Today we traverse four Munros—including the knife-edge Devil’s Ridge, said to test one’s spirit as much as their step. Waterfalls thunder from glacial cliffs, wind howls through the high corries, and ancient stone underfoot whispers of warriors and wildness. This is a true initiation—into trust, focus, and the raw forces of the natural world. Easier trail options available if needed.

DAY 5: Eilean Donan Castle & The Fairy Pools
SUNDAY, APRIL 13, 2026
Our path leads to the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, where three lochs converge. This tidal island is steeped in magic and mystery—said to be protected by sea spirits and blessed by a fairy bride who gifted the legendary Fairy Flag. Then, to Skye: land of enchantment. The Fairy Pools shimmer with clear glacial water beneath the Cuillin mountains. Locals say wishes whispered here reach the otherworld. This is a day of beauty, myth, and renewal.

DAY 6: Quiraing & The Old Man of Storr
MONDAY, APRIL 14, 2026
The Quiraing is a living landscape—still shifting, still speaking. Formed by landslides, this surreal terrain is dotted with features named in myth: the Prison, the Table, the Needle. Hike among stone towers and hidden valleys where fae folk are still said to dance in the mist. Later, we visit the Old Man of Storr—a towering basalt pinnacle said to be a petrified giant, still guarding the isle. Today is pure magic carved in stone.

DAY 7: Dunvegan Castle, Coral Beach & Neist Point
TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 2026
Explore the lands of Clan MacLeod, keepers of the mystical Fairy Flag. At Dunvegan Castle, lore and lineage entwine. Nearby Coral Beach glows white and gold—formed not from sand, but from calcified sea algae. Finally, we journey to Neist Point, where cliffs drop into the Atlantic and the horizon calls like a dream. Legend says this headland opens doorways for those ready to walk between worlds. We’ll close the day in ritual as the sun sinks low.

DAY 8: Callanish STANDING Stones
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16, 2026
We ferry to the Isle of Lewis and walk among the Callanish Stones—an ancient megalithic temple aligned with the lunar cycle, solar cycle, and the great turning of the heavens. Built over 5,000 years ago, these stones hold ceremonial memory and energetic charge. Some say they mark the bones of the earth. Others claim they open the soul to astral knowledge. No matter what you believe, this is sacred ground. Prepare for quiet reverence, magic, and timeless presence.

DAY 9: Ullapool Hill & INVERNESS
THURSDAY, APRIL 17, 2026
We return to the mainland and hike above the quiet harbor town of Ullapool. From the summit, views stretch across Loch Broom and the Summer Isles, offering space to breathe and integrate all that’s been stirred. Some say these high places were used by ancient seers and dreamers to receive guidance from sky spirits. This is a day for reflection, stillness, and gathering the gold from the journey thus far.

DAY 10: GLASGOW INTEGRATION DAY
FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 2026
We travel south through Highland heartlands, returning to Glasgow. But we are not the same. This is a day of closing: gentle yoga, shared stories, reflection, and rest. We root what has been reclaimed. We name what is coming next. Like the spiral path of the ancients, the return brings us back to the beginning—but with deeper knowing, fuller hearts, and a fire lit from within.

Yes, this quest includes several moderate to challenging hikes—some with elevation gain, uneven terrain, and full-day durations. While you don’t need to be an athlete, a basic level of fitness and stamina will help you fully enjoy the experience.
We recommend preparing with:
Regular walks or hikes (3–6 miles) on varied terrain
Strength and mobility training (especially for legs, core, and balance)
Practice carrying a small daypack with water and layers
Stair climbing or hill intervals for elevation prep
More than peak performance, what matters most is being comfortable with moving your body in nature, resilience with the elements, and listening to your limits. Since her twenties, she has embraced the rugged beauty of these landscapes, drawing from her background in sports medicine, human performance, and her experience as a collegiate athlete and expedition adventure racer. A seasoned guide, she brings a holistic approach to outdoor leadership, blending mindset training, recovery techniques, yoga, and earth wisdom. With a deep understanding of ritual and mindfulness, Tiffany is uniquely positioned to lead this sacred Alpine quest, where inner transformation meets the awe-inspiring majesty of the mountains.

Julien is a certified UIMLA International Mountain Leader with deep expertise in the Swiss Alps, where he has spent much of his life hiking, mountaineering, skiing, and climbing. A member of both the Swiss and French Mountain Leader Associations, he ensures the highest safety and guiding standards. After years in development aid and humanitarian assistance, Julien launched his own trekking business, offering flexible services for those seeking to reconnect with nature. Raised in Burgundy and educated in Geography and Political Science, his global experience across Asia, North America, and the Middle East has given him a worldly, open outlook, making him a personable and knowledgeable guide for any Alpine adventure.
