FLIGHT ITINERARY RECOMMENDATIONS

You’ll want to fly into and out of Inverness International Airport.

  • Arrival: Plan to arrive in Inverness on or before April 17 (we recommend arriving at least a day early (4/16) if possible to acclimate and recover from travel). If arriving on 4/17, please ensure your plane lands NO LATER THAN 1:00pm on April 17, 2026.

  • Departure: The quest ends on the evening of April 26, 2026 after dinner. Plan to schedule your flight out on April 27, 2026

Tip: If you're arriving from overseas, look for multi-city or open-jaw tickets, or connect through major hubs like London, Dublin, or Amsterdam for the best options.

Please upload copies of your passport, flight itinerary and travel insurance to the admin folder. You only need to drag and drop your file into the google folder. This must be done no later than February 15, 2026.

THE DAILY BREAKDOWN

DAY 0: ARRIVE TO INVERNESS

FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2026

We begin our journey in Inverness, the storied capital of the Highlands and home to Lady Nessie, water dragon of the wilds. Steeped in ancient history and Celtic lore, this land has witnessed the footsteps of warrior queens, seers, and clans. A gateway to the wild and the mystical, Inverness invites us to slow down, listen deeply, and prepare to launch into the breathtaking sacred territory we are about to become. We will meet at the hotel at 4:00pm for our opening circle and traditional Celtic welcome feast! It is here, the quest begins.

DAY 1: JOURNEY TO THE ISLE OF SKYE

SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2026

We begin our passage westward aboard the iconic Kyle Line, a railway threading through highland wilderness, shimmering lochs, and brooding mountains. This route carries us toward Skye—the Isle of Mist. After crossing the Skye Bridge, we’ll visit the enchanted Eilean Donan castle, introducing us to the fierce and ancient beauty of the Highlands. Thereafter, we arrive in Broadford a tranquil village, where we can dine at a local pub and attune to the rhythm of the isles.

DAY 2: Skye Trail: Torrin to Broadford

SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 2026

We are shuttled to the quiet village of Torrin where we begin our first long walk along a winding coastal path that hugs ancient cliffs and forgotten crofter ruins—ghosts of a time when landowners cleared entire communities. With the Cuillin Ridge towering beside us and the sea stretching beyond, we pass waterfalls, wild beaches, marble quarries, and sacred forests before returning to Broadford. It’s a day to unfold the secrets within to expose ourselves to the barren wilds of Skye.

DAY 3: Across Camasunary Bay to Sligachan

MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2026

Walk where sea meets stone along the shores of Camasunary Bay while admiring the majesty of the Cuillin mountains. This sacred passage leads to the legendary Sligachan Hotel—where lore says a sip from the river grants eternal beauty. Drink up! After lunch and rest, we’ll journey to Portree, a charming harbor village alive with color, culture, and Highland hospitality.

DAY 4: THROUGH THE ENCHANTED REALMS of the fae

TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2026

Today we explore the mystical magical heart of Skye on a full-day journey through legend and landscape. Wander and swim through the mystical Fairy Pools, sip whisky at Talisker Distillery, and explore the enchanting Fairy Glen. With brief stops at the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, and the Quiraing, plus a visit to Neist Point or Dunvegan Castle, this day is full of ancient lore, natural beauty, and deep cultural history—woven together with Highland storytelling and fae magic.

DAY 5: THE QUIRAING & OLD MAN OF STORR

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2026

Choose your path today through one of Skye’s most iconic landscapes. Hike beneath the towering spires of the Old Man of Storr—said to be a giant turned to stone—or follow the moorland and cliffside trail from Storr Dam back to Portree. Whichever route calls to you, the land whispers ancient stories through stone, sky, and sea.

DAY 6: FERRY TO HARRIS & COASTAL WALK

THURSDAY, APRIL 23, 2026

Today we voyage from Skye to the rugged Isle of Harris by ferry, crossing waters long traveled by Norse raiders and Gaelic saints. Upon arrival in Tarbert, choose to explore the island’s only whisky distillery, where the smell of peat fires fill the air, or journey into Glen Meavaig to seek out golden eagles soaring over the hills. These majestic raptors have long been symbols of freedom and vision in Celtic lore.

DAY 7: NORTH HARRIS & THE GOLDEN ROAD

FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2026

Today marks the longest walk of our journey—15 mystical miles through the wild soul of Harris. Begin in Seilebost, gazing over the shimmering sands of Luskentyre, then follow the southern stretch of the Harris Walkway. This sacred route includes the historic coffin road, where villagers once carried loved ones to rest. Traverse open moorlands, ancient footpaths, and weathered stone—each step a passage through story, spirit, and timelessness. (Optional bus to shorten the final leg.)

DAY 8: CALLANISH STONE CIRCLE ~ CEREMONIAL DEVOTION

SATURDAY, APRIL 25, 2026

Depart Tarbert and journey west to the Isle of Lewis and one of the most powerful megalithic sites in the world…the Callanish Stone Circle. Spend the day in deep ceremony—walking the stones, sitting in stillness, and entering into ritual work that bridges personal, ancestral, and planetary realms. Here, we gather to reflect, release, and remember. This is a day for presence, for prayer, and for honoring the power that shapes our path forward. Then to Stornoway for a night of integration and rest.

SUNDAY, APRIL 26, 2026

This morning marks the close of the standard route. Those concluding their journey will depart Stornoway on the earliest ferry to Ullapool (approximately 3 hours), followed by bus transfer to Inverness (about 1 hour 20 minutes). Altogether, allow for a 5-hour journey back to Inverness as you plan your itinerary. We’ll share a final meal in Inverness together that night.

MONDAY, APRIL 27, 2026

Catch a taxi to the airport for your flight out. Plan to give plenty of time for transportation and airport procedures.
