When you're low energy and out of balance, you can feel a deep sense of inertia. You may hang onto things that no longer nourish or serve you. At times, sadness, grief, or depression dominate and you can feel emotionally stubborn as the tides keep coming. Physically, you may be prone to excess weight, fluid retention, allergies, and/or tendencies toward lethargy, congestive illnesses or brain fog.

As a Water Archetype, you can build on your adaptable wisdom by integrating qualities of air, fire, and earth elements into your daily life. To optimize your caring and supportive nature, try these five key strategies plus a customized breathing practice:

Nature is medicine. Spend time in fresh air and observe nature. Find a park to walk around in to stimulate your nervous system.

Early bird wins. Wake up early at the same time each morning to develop a habit that keeps you active and motivated.

Try something new. Seek out new experiences (sights, sounds, foods, etc.) that stimulate you and help get you out of a rut.

Move it, move it. Create a playlist that brings you joy. Play it throughout the day to bring more light energy and excitement to your life.

Fire it up. Drink ginger tea, eat lots of veggies, and use plenty of spices in your food.
