Everything you

need to know

Getting There

  • Arrival time is 4pm on Friday, February 6; shoot for 3:45pm to give yourself extra time

  • The address is 273 Fallen Rock Road (CR 8522) - see map link here

  • If you would like to carpool, please reach out and I will make connections between those who'd like to ride together

  • Ensure you have a 4WD as the last 1/2 mile of the driveway is very steep

  • Plan to settle in, meet and greet, and grab some appetizers before our opening circle at 5pm! Dinner will be at 7pm

Weather & Things to Bring

  • Clothes - It appears the weather should be sunny and nice, but you know Colorado! Bring warm gear for snowshoeing, wool socks, snow boots, beanie, whatever you need to feel good in the mountains. Bring clothes that make you feel beautiful and powerful. And don't forget your suit!

  • Beverage & Treat - Bring a beverage and a treat to share (wine and chocolate, bubbly water and homemade cookies, whatever you wish!) We do have gluten free food restrictions among the group

  • Altar Item - Bring a special token/item for the altar - something to represent where you are in your journey of life right now.

  • Organic Item - Bring an organic item to offer to the medicine bundle we will create together at the end of the retreat. You can also find something while we are snowshoeing!

Snowshoeing - YMCA of the Rockies

  • We will be snowshoeing at the YMCA of the Rockies Nordic Center. The entry fee is $29 per person. Plan to snowshoe for 3 hours or so with a lunch break somewhere along the way.

  • This will not be a rigorous hike and we will go at the pace of the group, enjoying time with each other, pausing to take in the winter wonderland, and moving our bodies while breathing fresh mountain air! See Snowshoe Trail Map here.

  • If you want to borrow snowshoes and poles (or if you have your own), make sure to bring them, otherwise there will be an opportunity to rent equipment for $25.

  • Our beautiful chef will pack lunches for us but please plan to bring a camelback and/or snacks if you wish.

Hot Sulphur Springs

  • Our hot springs adventure to finish out our time together on Sunday morning will be at Hot Sulphur Springs where we will soak for a couple of hours and do a final ceremony at a nearby spot along the river. Entry fee to the hot springs will be $30 per person.

  • We will pack up all of our stuff and plan to be out of the house by 8:30/9am on Sunday after meditation/breakfast to hit the springs.

THE DAILY BREAKDOWN

DAY 1 | FRIDAY FEBRUARY 6
arrival & Intention

Arrive at 4pm and settle into the cozy mountain sanctuary as snowflakes fall outside and the fire crackles within. We’ll gather in an opening circle to connect, set intentions, and honor the season of renewal. Enjoy a soulful evening of reflection, s’mores, stargazing, and hot-tubbing under the winter sky—a perfect start to slowing down and coming home to yourself.

DAY 2 | SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7 | MOVEMENT & RENEWAL

Step into the stillness of winter with a guided 5–6 mile snowshoe through rolling hills and quiet forests, pausing for hot cocoa and moments of silence among the trees. (Possibly even a stop to do some sledding!) This is a powerful day to move with intention, breathe deeply, and receive the wisdom of nature. As night falls, we’ll unwind with yoga, meditation, journaling, and a bonfire beneath the stars—rekindling the flame within.

TEND TO THE SOFTENING…

February marks the quiet turning of the year—a time when the frozen earth softens beneath the promise of light.

The long nights begin to shorten, and the first subtle stirrings of life whisper beneath the snow. Though the landscape still sleeps, a sacred spark is awakening within and around us.

In many traditions, this seasonal time is the festival of the hearth and flame—a moment of purification, reflection, and rebirth. It is a time to tend our inner fire, release the weight of the dark months, and plant the seeds of what is ready to grow.

When we pause to honor this sacred season, we attune to the rhythm of becoming. We remember that rest and renewal are part of creation—that before the bloom, there is always the stillness.

This is your invitation to gather in warmth and community—to snowshoe through silence, journal by candlelight, and sit fireside in reflection. To remember your own spark of vitality and let it emerge once more.
